Found the beds a little bit itchy. Hot water in shower stopped working but staff allowed us to change rooms which was good

Awesome!!!

I love that the location is really strategically placed. I love the foods they are serving. Our whole stay here was really memorable and comfortable. It feels home away from home. Most of all, we loved the service of the guesthouse owner it's just sad that I did not get his name. He was really the best, always helping us and other tourists - not just their guests (YES! HE'S REALLY HELPFUL!!!) - with our inquiries and all the help he can give he will really offer. I loved the place, plus the foods, plus the people and the whole experience!!! I will definitely go back and choose Ha Trang Guesthouse all over again. Plus, I love the coffeeeeeeee!! Kudos, and thank you for the wonderful experience!

Located in the center so everything around is in walk...

Located in the center so everything around is in walk distance. The owner was kind enough to let us check-in when the guesthouse was opened at 6.25 am. He speaks english and always tried to provide our needs, including transportation to our next destination. We rented a scooter from him with discounted price. Room was clean, with clean sheets and nice blankets. We also had good breakfast with a big loaf of bread filled with eggs served with tomato and cucumber. I would recommend this place.

Staff were very friendly and helpful

Terrible breakfast . Room was filthy. It took 3 hours one day for our hot water to heat up for a shower and only lasted a few minutes. They lock the front doors about 10pm luckily we were home each time before this, but staff failed to mention.

Okay

This is s typical hotel room you'd find for a very low cost. Nothing special. The breakfast was a Banh My with eggs and jam. The room rate was quite inexpensive.

The owners didn't really look friendly and we're upset when we tried to get out of the place at 10pm. I'd be understanding if this was a homestay proper.

Centrally-located no-frills budget-friendly stay in Tam Coc, steps from bus stop & boat ride.

great location on the main road near restaurants/bike rental/Tam Coc boat ride, buses drop you less than a block away, staff will book your onward/return ticket - on a bus that actually shows up sort-of on time! - & exchange money (no ATMs in town), free breakfast, big room with window. can't beat the price!

"hot" shower was lukewarm at best, people constantly knocking on my room door - happened 5 times in 3 nights (was not in room during the day) so not just another guest getting confused, very unsettling when you're staying alone

Average breakfast.

Disgusting smell in the toilet. One of the mattresses was as hard as a rock. Pushing staff to buy you tickets and then get scammed! The dorm was supposed to be included in the bus ticket price. We arrived in Phong Nha at 5am with no place to stay in under the rain after an 8-hour night bus. The owner of the property in Phong Nha told us he did not work with the hostel that sold us the tickets. Very disappointing. Highly not recommended.

Very good location (especially if you rent a motorbike), quite spaceous room, good value for money. Elder lady cooks fine (reasonable restaurant prices also).

Owner was really nice, breakfast was very good and room was cheap.

Reception does not work 24hours, room is old and moldy, so need some maintance. Unlike some other guests we didn't appreciate that location. We wanted to stay in Ninh Binh but our bus dropped us off there and there is no other connection to Ninh Binh (only taxi). Tam Coc is nice, but you still need a motorbike or bicycle to go around and transport from Tam Coc to Hanoi or Cat Ba etc. is much more expensive than from Ninh Binh.

closed at 10:30 pm, had to ask the next door restaurant to call them and wait 15 minutes outside for them to come and open. asked them to clean my bathroom which was dirty, they didn't was not worth 8$ a night ...
